Swemmer Disposal Services was founded in 2016 with a simple mission: dependable, hardworking service that helps people clear out unwanted items and move their projects forward — with less stress.
What started as a part-time junk removal business grew quickly. Owner Joe, who was working as a truck driver at the time, saw the opportunity to build something of his own and serve the community he called home.
The idea came from a real need: Realtors and property owners needed a reliable company to clear out properties fast — before closing, before a move, before the next chapter could begin. That demand became the foundation of SDS.
In 2021, SDS expanded with its roll-off dumpster division, allowing the company to serve more clients at a larger scale. And beyond the work itself, SDS gives back — supporting local charities, church groups, and children's sports teams throughout the year.

Most household and construction debris is accepted: furniture, appliances (no Freon), drywall, flooring, lumber, yard waste, and general junk.
No hazardous materials — paint, chemicals, oils, tires, batteries, propane tanks, asbestos, or anything requiring special disposal.
In most NJ towns, a permit is required if the dumpster goes on a public street. Driveway placement usually doesn't require one. We'll advise based on your specific town.
Standard rental is 7 days. Extensions are available — just let us know before your pickup date.
